Hell House Exorcism

At the haunted mansion known as Hell House, teenager Megan Voorhees becomes possessed by the malevolent spirit of Hugh Kane, the house's cruel and wicked previous owner. During a formal dinner party thrown by Megan's mother, the possessed girl interrupts the gathering with disturbing behavior.

Megan's mother seeks help from two Roman Catholic priests, Father McFeely and Father Harris. The priests attempt to exorcise Kane's ghost from Megan's body, but the ritual fails completely. In desperation and frustration, Father McFeely pulls out a gun and shoots Megan, ending the possession in the most extreme way possible.

College Life

One year later, Cindy Campbell, Ray Wilkins, Brenda Meeks, and Shorty Meeks are all attending college together. They are attempting to build new lives and move past the traumatic events of the previous year when they survived a serial killer's rampage.

Cindy and Brenda are constantly followed by Alex, a socially maladjusted student who desperately seeks their friendship. Shorty remains the same marijuana-obsessed stoner he has always been, showing no signs of change despite his near-death experiences.

Ray continues to be confused about his sexuality. He has made two new male friends: Tommy and Buddy. Buddy develops romantic feelings for Cindy and attempts to pursue her. Cindy rebuffs his romantic advances but agrees to maintain a friendship with him.

The Study

The sinister Professor Oldman and his charming paraplegic assistant, Dwight Hartman, devise a plan to study the paranormal activity occurring at Hell House. To conduct their research, they need test subjects.

Oldman and Dwight recruit Cindy and her friends to participate under the false pretense of conducting a psychological experiment on sleep paralysis. The students believe they are participating in legitimate academic research rather than being used as guinea pigs in a haunted house.

The next morning, Professor Oldman informs Dwight that despite the supernatural attacks, no one is permitted to leave the house. The study must continue. Oldman also reveals his lecherous nature during this conversation.

Dwight is given the only set of house keys and receives strict instructions to give them to no one under any circumstances. Theo attempts to trade sexual favors—specifically offering to perform fellatio on Dwight—in exchange for the keys. Buddy and Cindy become locked inside the mansion's walk-in freezer, facing death by hypothermia. Using a bizarre collection of random objects she finds in the freezer, Cindy somehow assembles a fully functional Caterpillar 2-ton tractor and uses it to break them out.

Hanson becomes possessed by Hugh Kane's spirit. The possessed caretaker kidnaps an inebriated Shorty, taking him hostage. Cindy, Brenda, and Theo team up to battle the possessed Hanson using highly stylized martial arts fight choreography reminiscent of The Matrix and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Despite their impressive moves, the three women are defeated by the possessed Hanson. However, Cindy eventually succeeds in performing an exorcism that drives Kane's ghost out of Hanson's body, freeing the caretaker from possession.
